I gave up trying to find a suitable art box to lug my art stuff around in.

I have too much stuff to fit into my purse and too little to necessitate an entire tackle box so after cleaning out the otherwise unused downstairs room and transforming it into a work space, I found a couple of old pencil cases given to me a while back and altered one to make a usable case for lugging my art stuff around.

.....then I made pom-poms....

I finished another little ceramic thing....well, I glazed the head and knitted a body for it , it's not finished yet, still needs feet and a hood. anyway, here it is before I brake the bloody thing.

six weeks later....

A couple of weeks ago, following my successful first attempt at cutting hair, I felt I had done such a stellar job that I needed to cut more things! After a moment's contemplation and the realization that under no circumstances would it be forgivable of me to try and trim lightning bolts into my friend's cat, I came to the inevitable next step: SPIDERS!

He's perhaps a little more "huggable" than I had hoped.
